Kelway acquires Elcom ITG to become £100 million business

Kelway, the UK’s fastest growing IT reseller and CRN’s Reseller of the Year, has acquired the assets of Elcom ITG, the IT infrastructure and services group. The acquisition, in line with Kelway’s ambitious growth plans, will see a projected combined group turnover of over £100 million and more than 160 full time staff at seven UK locations. Elcom ITG will continue as an independent brand within the Kelway group.

Kelway was established in 1990 and has expanded dramatically in the past six years with turnover rising from £12 million to £54 million. With headquarters in London’s Docklands, it has four established UK sales offices and a fifth in South Africa. Last year Kelway was named both Corporate Reseller of the Year and overall Reseller of the Year at the prestigious CRN Awards.

Elcom ITG has been delivering IT services to leading UK organisations for nearly 25 years. Its range of infrastructure and management services encompasses technology fulfilment, software licensing, asset management and support. It boasts expertise in all classes of modern enterprise IT, including networking, mobility, storage and security.
