Kelway goes beyond technology
Launch of new brand marks the completion of a comprehensive IT service, solutions and supply portfolio. Kelway, the UK’s leading mid-market IT provider, today launches a new brand that reflects its increased maturity in the UK business technology channel. Under the beyond technology brand proposition, Kelway will be delivering a comprehensive portfolio of IT solutions and managed services that build on the company’s traditional strengths in IT procurement and logistical excellence. The rebrand marks the completion of the successful integration of enterprise and data centre infrastructure specialist Repton, acquired by Kelway in May, which took Kelway’s turnover to over £180 million and its headcount to more than 350.
The new brand reflects this growing maturity, while a new family of own-branded service, including Consult+, Manage+ and Deploy+, reinforce Kelway’s status as a full service IT provider. The past few months have been all about integrating an expanded range of services and solution specialisations into a fully defined portfolio. The new brand marks the completion of that journey, the visual identity embodying the bringing-together of our service, solution and supply offerings.
Kelway CEO Phil Doye says: “We wanted to make a clear statement to the market that Kelway has changed. Our customers will continue to receive the pragmatic and friendly service they’ve come to expect of us but they will now also benefit from a far broader range of managed services and expertise. We go far beyond the simple provision of IT now, and this new brand gives us the platform we need to compete with the biggest IT providers in the market.”
Kelway will be going to market with a core offering based on a new family of service sub-brands and areas of solutions expertise in addition to its traditional – and ongoing – strengths in IT supply. The company will also continue to invest in its partner development programme, aiming to build on a lengthy list of accreditations that includes Cisco Systems Silver Partner, Citrix Gold Partner, Dell Premier Partner, EMC Velocity Partner, HP Gold Preferred Partner, IBM Premier Business Partner, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, NetApp Gold Authorised Partner, Oracle Certified Solutions Partner and VMware Enterprise Partner.
