Charity
The IT issues facing charities are as challenging as those in any other sector. Kelway has worked with some of the best-known charities in the UK over the last 12 years. We have come to appreciate some of the subtle – and not so subtle – differences between charities and ‘ordinary’ businesses.
For example, one of our customers is the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Kelway bravely faced the unique challenges of delivering and installing hardware at a remote lifeboat station by helicopter.
On land or sea, every one of our charity sector customers benefits from the same EasyLife service philosophy as our business customers. For instance, imagine the consequences would have been if faulty hardware had been delivered to that remote lifeboat station. Under our EasyLife promise, Kelway does everything in our power to make sure that equipment and software arrived in perfect condition. At our warehouse, everything is removed from its original packaging, assembled, tested and the requisite software is installed (often using disk imaging techniques for consistency and compatibility). Then the equipment is repackaged securely and tidily and made ready for shipping to the customer.
